baby gifts

July 20, 2009

This weekend I will be a godparent again. I still haven’t bought my gift yet since I’ve been too busy lately juggling work and wedding planning. Anyway, I have an idea in mind already. At least it fits in the mom’s wish list. I had some candidates on what gift to give like probably a quinny buzz but I’m a bit limited by my budget so I have to find something else. I just hope they would like what I’m going to get for their baby.

2 receptions

July 18, 2009

Have you noticed how little time the newly weds really get to interact with their guests during receptions? everything just happens so fast! we hope that by having separate receptions, we’d be able to enjoy more the company of our relatives and friends! we plan for a relatives to be gastronomically satisfied with dad’s ultimate buffet and get our friends drunk the next day with an open bar!

save the date

I have been playing around with photoshop and have drafted our save the date cards.

This is the latest version of our save the date/s card…we’re just having a hard time picking the shade of blue…we’re actually going for the color teal (greenish blue)

Anyways, yep, we’re having 2 receptions1 :) … we’ll be having a simple dinner with close relatives and selected close friends after the church ceremony on Jan 22, then the next day (jan 23), we’ll be having a wedding (luau) party with our friends!

managing your portfolio

July 17, 2009

How do you manage your covered calls portfolio? Are you having a hard time determining when to exit or when to wait some more? It really is just like a game that you should know how to play right or else you lose (or don’t get to earn as much money as you possibly can). It’s great that you can get help in your analysis using PowerOptions. You can use this online tool in managing your portfolio. It can help you in making your decisions so that you can hopefully optimize your profit. Although of course, these are just information. It is still up to you to decide when to exit and when to wait some more.

cats and dogs!

The rain is pouring down so hard! I should be getting ready for work now but I just couldn’t resist cuddling up on my bed some more.  We’re not that strict when it comes to our time in anyways.  This is one of the times when I miss working from home.  Normally I would sleep be asleep and would be enjoying the cold bed weather.  Now I gotta drag myself out of the bed and brave the typhoon just to go to work.  Oh well. That’s life! Gotta earn more money!

erratic weather

I just hate the weather these past few days. It’s either too hot or it’s raining hard. No wonder a lot of people are getting sick because of the erratic changing weather. Oh well. I never leave without bringing an umbrella these days. Sometimes no matter how sunny it is in the morning, it may rain super hard in the afternoon.

coin collecting

July 16, 2009

Do you have a rare coin that you are probably holding on for a couple of years already? It would be a nice thing to pass on to generation, unless somebody decides to sell it, since it would probably cost a lot already after so many years. Coins are one of the collections that some invest on. Some go into buying and selling these kinds of stuffs. Well, there are a lot of knowledgeable people who can help you out when it comes to this. I suggest that you check out zoomcoin.com for more information. You might even want to subscribe to “The Rare Coin Insider” to get more information.
