different ball game

I have organized a couple of weddings already. It can really be a tedious job but I loved it! Well, it’s still a different story when you’re organizing your own. Lately, my sweetie and I have been discussing about our own wedding. Sometimes we end up both getting stressed, but it’s usually a fun whenever we try to envision how our wedding would be. Well, I guess it would be a bit less stressful planning our wedding since I already have an idea on which suppliers are affordable and gives quality service. We have a very limited budget so I think I have to start letting go of some of my dream suppliers. Let’s just see what kind of wedding we can come up with. In the mean time, I’m still waiting for that ring! Hahaha! It’s hard to plan when I haven’t even gotten a formal proposal yet.
an addition to my collection
March 11, 2009One thing that I am addicted to is collecting magazines. Right now, I regularly buy Yummy magazine. I also collect (almost all) local bridal magazines.
I knew that the local Martha Stewart Weddings magazine would be released this march. I have been looking at bookstores since the first day of the month and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. And today, I finally did! I’m so happy! Buying these magazines is just a guilty pleasure! I know they don’t really cost cheap, but they’re still so much cheaper than imported bridal magazines!
Well, at least I had something to do while waiting for my sweetie to arrive from Sta. Rosa for our midweek quality time. I was waiting at the coffee shop while browsing through my new magazine. I didn’t even mind that he was late!
investments
March 7, 2009I’ve known about friends losing a lot from their past investments in stocks and mutual funds. Some of their worth went as low as 40% of their initial investment. That’s so sad to hear especially knowing that they have worked so hard for the money that they invested. Investing nowadays can be tricky. Of course there would always have a risk, but we have to be super careful where we put our money. Keeping it all in the bank may not be the greatest idea as well. Maybe you can invest in gold or silver through Monex. Well, that’s one of the options. You can read more about them and assess if this is the type of investment for you.
