Beach theme

February 28, 2009

We may not have started planning for our wedding, but one thing’s for sure, we will have a beach themed wedding.  We may not afford a Boracay wedding, but we might be able to pull off a beach themed one.  I’m happy that we both agree to that detail.  I saw how my sweetie’s eyes lit up when we chanced upon some wedding theme exhibit  at Trinoma a couple of weeks ago.

updates

February 24, 2009

I’ve been so lazy lately when it comes to blogging. I’ve actually got a lot of stuff to blog about…just like getting a free dinner at Italliani’s last Valentine’s day c/o Magic 89.9…

I’ve recently signed in to Facebook lately and I’ve gotten so addicted to it already! I usually play Mafia Wars and poker.

Lately, my insomniac mode is back! I used to sleep around 2 am…then it become 4am…and today, i slept around 6 am and woke up around 11am.  It’s really terrible!

I’m contemplating of accepting a new project… gotta earn more money if I want to get married already!

read reviews

February 17, 2009

It’s amazing how so much food blogs have emerged already! You would usually blog posts of where people eat or go out on dates. Well, I personally enjoy reading food blog posts or restaurant reviews since you get a great heads up on which ones are nice to try out. Of course, you wouldn’t want to waste your time and money at a restaurant with lousy service, bland food, or those having pricey, but not worth it food. There are a lot of sites devoted to these kinds of information. If you are from Denver, I’m sure you would be able to appreciate westword.com, where you can find information on not just about Denver Restaurants, but events, movies, music, etc.

got the flu

February 8, 2009
I’ve been under the weather for 3 days already.  It really sucks! I hate getting sick!  I hate feeling weak and having no sense of taste.  I hate getting the sniffles, coughing and sneezing every so often.  Well, atleast I’m starting to feel a little better…I better be! I’ve been drinking my meds religiously.  I still feel a bit dizzy once in awhile.  I can’t wait when I’m totally cured!  I can’t wait to get out of the house!

online colleges

Have you thought of pursuing further studies, like probably taking an MBA or a totally new course? I had an org mate who finished BS Industrial Engineering then took up extra units in Biology then took up medicine. Isn’t that crazy? Well, she’s just pursuing what she really wants to do. Sometimes I do think about studying again and taking up an entirely new course. There are online colleges that I can apply to. Maybe I can take up a master’s degree. I’m still reading some information at capella.edu regarding what options I have. I still don’t know yet if I’m up to studying again. Sometimes I feel lazy just thinking about it, but sometimes I get excited just by the very thought of it. Oh well. I still got a lot of time to think about it.

benjamin button

February 4, 2009

Here are some of my favorite quotes from movie:

Benjamin Button: I was thinking how nothing last, and what a shame that is.
Daisy: Some things last.

“We are defined by opportunities, even those we miss.” - Benjamin

“Life can only be understood looking backward. It must be lived forward.”

“You never know what’s coming for you.”

“It’s a funny thing coming home. Nothing changes. Everything looks the same, feels the same, even smells the same. You realize what’s changed, is you.”

“I want to remember us, just as we are now.”

“In the end, you have to let go.”

“I look a lot older than I really am.”

overthinking…

It’s the Hot Air Balloon Festival once again at Clark, Pampanga. Well, even if I could, I don’t plan on going this year. Why? Well, I just don’t feel like it. Normally, I would get excited with the thought of traveling somewhere relatively far and going on a (photo) shooting spree.

Oh well. Sometimes I really don’t know what I want anymore. Sometimes I just can’t sit still, but sometimes that’s just what I want to do.

*sigh*

I need to stop over thinking things…

mexico hotels

February 3, 2009
Have you been to Mexico? In case you find yourself traveling to that side of the world, it is suggested that you visit the Riviera Maya white-sand beaches. You can check in any of the Karisma hotels which guarantees you a nice vacation stay. Their Adults Only Mexico resort hotel ensures of providing you with the luxury that you expect. There you can also experience gourmet dining which would certainly satisfy your gastronomic needs. You can opt to stay at their ocean front suites which have a refreshing site. It would be nice having your wedding by the beach. That would be truly romantic!
