fashion jewelry

December 31, 2008

In case you are looking for some fashion jewelry sets or probably an engagement ring that wouldn’t cause you an arm and a leg, maybe you can visit holstedjewelers.com. They have fashion jewelry that really looks real! Non experts won’t be able to tell if it’s really diamonds or not! Well, I think giving an engagement ring doesn’t have to be that expensive. What matters most is the commitment you are willing to give in marrying the one you love. The ring is just an accent to this wonderful commitment. So in case you can’t afford real jewelry, maybe you can check our holstedjewelers for other options.

optimizing the cam

I admit, I haven’t tinkered much with my dad’s Nikon D200.  I haven’t even read its manual.  It’s hard using a camera which you haven’t studied yet.  You can’t optimize its use and you can’t manually adjust the right way.  Right now, I take better photos with my Olympus C760 since I’m more familiar with its features and I can easily adjust the settings to how I want my photos appear.

Hopefully I’ll have the time soon to really study the features of my dad’s camera so I can take better photos with it.

xmas party (1)

It was our annual Christmas party celebration in Batangas with my relatives at my father’s side yesterday. We belong to a pretty big clan and my relatives’ houses in Batangas are mostly clustered together. You can like go house hopping if you want. But since my lola passed away, we have been celebrating our Christmas party at one of my aunt’s place.

beauty jobs

Where do you usually have your hair and make up done for special events like attending weddings or important gatherings? I know we all want to look our best during those times. It’s amazing how beautiful one can transform into after being all glamorously made up in a salon. It’s really better if you already know of a salon which already knows your taste and which you are assured of having quality service. I know that beauty salon jobs are not as easy as it seems that’s why I really look up to those who do a good job! Anyway, in case you are one of those searching for jobs in salons, I suggest that you check out beautyjobs.com.

xmas party (3)

December 30, 2008

Anyway, it was nice seeing relatives especially my cousins. How time flies so fast! Now some of them have little kids in tow already, thus more pressure builds up for us who aren’t married yet. It’s funny that they’re like all forcing us to get married already. Oh well. We’ll have our own time.
We played some games which were all fun. I even won the hep-hep-hooray game! One of my cousin’s raffled off a starbucks planner which everybody wanted. Another cousin, who’s a med rep, gave away some stuff which she usually gives away to doctors. Of course we also had our annual exchange gift.

All in all, it was a fun night. It’s great bonding with family.

xmas party (2)

Since I spent some quality time with my sweetie in the morning, I just followed my family and commuted on my own. Too bad my sweetie has to go to Sta Rosa for his job so he wasn’t able to join us. Anyway, just like some people, I get a bit annoyed answering questions during reunions specially when they are repeated over and over…like: when are you getting married? Where are you working? When are you going to lose weight? Oh well… these interrogations I had to endure for the first few hours.

late gifts are welcome

There’s just a lot of pictures to take this holiday season. I really need new memory cards to accommodate all of them. Well, for those who are still planning to give me gifts, you know what to get me! Hahaha! It’s never too late! Your gift will still be highly appreciated! Better late than never! It’s the thought that counts! Happy New Year!

find cheaper option

Are you feeling the recession just like many? They say that next year would even be tougher. That’s a bit scary but I hope those are only speculations and won’t be that accurate. Well, it helps to be a bit to have savings for the rainy days and be extra smart in all your spending. Maybe you can opt for a cheap car insurance instead. I know monthly bills can be a bit hard to pay off especially when you total them together. It’s amazing how much bills one pays off every month.

get insurance

Are you interested in learning more about Wholesale Insurance life insurance rates? I am too. Well, there’s a lot you can read in wholesaleinsurance.net. They have useful information to help you be more aware of what they have to offer. I think having your own insurance is really smart. I know others may be put off with the monthly dues you have to pay, but I think you’ll be able to find a policy that can suit your budget.

new phone

December 21, 2008

My dad brought home a new cellphone wherein you can watch tv. It was pretty nice since it has a camera already and even has a stylus to use for the touch screen. My sweetie was amazed by it when he was tinkering with it when my dad was showing it off. Since he will be staying at Sta Rosa already during weekdays, I thought he can make use of this cell to watch tv to alleviate his boredom during the night time when he gets off at work. Anyway, it’s great that my dad sold me the phone at a great deal. It was an instant Christmas gift for my sweetie. He was surprised that I bought him the phone. Well, he certainly deserves it since his old phone looks like even a robber would hesitate taking it. It’s a good thing it’s an unlocked phone , actually, it even has a dual sim feature. I was kidding him that my gift is already good for Christmas, our anniversary and his birthday (and probably even until valentines!). Hahaha!
