More training sessions

May 28, 2008

I just got back from Nueva Ecija where I trained 10 teachers for TechFactors. I taught them the suggested curriculum for computer for grades 1-6 as well as for high school (1st to 3rd).  I wasn’t able to include Java anymore since that would take another 5 days.

It was a pretty long trip going there, buti na lang hinatid ako.  I stayed at San Jose, Nueva Ecija from monday-thursday.  I checked in at Hotel Tierra where I was able to taste Tapang Usa and Tapang Baboy Damo! The place isn’t much but atleast it was decently clean.  They also have a veranda which has a nice view of the mountains.

Tapang Baboy Damo with Egg and Sinangag - Php95.00

There weren’t too many places to go to there, but their Cathedral looks really magnificent, it’s one of the oldest in our country.

It was a pretty tiring since I was training from 8 am til 5 pm.  Anyways, I’m glad it’s over.  Hopefully they learned a lot and get to apply those learnings.  Next week, I’ll be off to Pampanga for more training.

hormones

May 27, 2008

There’s something wrong with my hormones that’s why the doctor prescribed me some pills to regulate them which includes regulating my cycle as well. There was actually a time I would not have my period for over 10 months and sometimes I would have my period for 3 weeks! I would sometimes get terrible PMS which would really make me cranky. Anyway, I just read about some progesterone crème which relives and prevents PMS. I’ll probably ask advice from my doctor if that would be helpful if I take that.

RAM upgrade

May 26, 2008

What’s your computer’s ram? What’s the minimum advisable requirements nowadays in order to have a computer good enough to use? Well, I don’t really know much about these things so I just usually rely on my brother when it comes to computer hardware. Well, I’m trying to read more about those kinds of stuff so I can upgrade my computer myself. I know it’s not hard as it seems. I just have to make sure that what I would be getting is compatible to what I have now.

savings account

May 25, 2008

It is not enough that you just know about you career, business or profession. It also pays, literally, to be very knowledgeable about money matters. It is very imperative that having a savings account be introduced into the minds of kids and to people who don’t have one. However, you can just sign up and give your cash to just any bank. Look for a bank that with high interest rates and with very good customer service practices. It is best to have a savings account in a bank that has very approachable and knowledgeable staff.

Ademco

At the place I work, the keyboards and mice are padlocked to the CPU to prevent theft. Now think about that. Some people would actually go to work each day and contemplate about stealing something from the company. Such is the dilemma of security. You can never really trust anyone but would just need to rely on security equipment to prevent company loss. 5. ademco is a company that specializes in home and office security. From burglar alarms to intercom systems to extra-strong padlocks, they have it.

i miss home…

May 23, 2008

I’ve been in Laguna since Tuesday since I will be training several teachers from different schools about Project Management.  This topic is very close to my heart since almost all my past jobs require project management.  I find it easy to discuss this topic since I have a lot of experiences regarding handling projects.

Anyway, I’ve been staying at the school dorm and it really makes me miss home… Oh well. I’ll be coming home later and I’m really looking forward to it.  But I only have the weekend to enjoy it since I will be going to Nueva Ecija for another set of training sessions, but this time for 5 times! *sigh* I’ll probably miss home even more.

new look for my room

May 18, 2008

I still haven’t cleaned up my room. I actually don’t sleep there anymore and opt to just sleep in the living room so it’s basically like my own room already (to my mom’s disappointment). Anyway, I really am planning to clean up my own room pretty soon. I just have to finish some other tasks, but once my schedule frees up, I would certainly devote more time cleaning it. I also plan to rearrange some pieces of furniture and if budget permits, probably buy some discount furniture which would help give my room a new look.
