Chocolate Kiss Cafe
September 30, 2007Chocolate Kiss Cafe is very close to my heart. Back in college, it was always a retreat for me and my bestfriend. We'd usually visit the place whenever we wanna do some catching up. I, myself, go here alone when I want some lone time and want to treat myself with good food. Being located inside the UP Diliman Campus (at the Bahay ng Alumni) makes it more possible for me to frequent this place.
Chicken Kiev - Php190: with rice, Php 210 with mashed potatoes
It's either Chicken Kiev for me or Chix in a Basket. I don't really need to look anymore at their menu since I already know what I want. On some days I want something different, I go for their Pesto Pasta! Their servings are usually good for sharing so it's nice to bring friends along so you can sample different dishes.

Beef Lasagna - Php170.00
This is actually a very nice date place. Usually during nights, they have a pianist to complete the romantic ambiance.
I've actually noticed their price increase but then it's still worth every penny I'm paying them. Sulit pa rin!
Their signature iced tea with syrup - Php52.00 (bottomless)
Texas Square Sundae - Php95.00
Sometimes we go here just for desserts. My favorite: Texas Square Sundae! I also recommend you try their Devil's Food Cake and Cheesecake which is really divine! Their Kahlua Butter Cake is good as well. Sometimes when I can't decide what dessert to have, I order the Chocolate Kiss Suite which is like a triple treat sampler. Choose 3 from Devil's Food Cake, Carrot Cake, Dayap Chiffon Cake, Kahlua Butter Cake or Prune Cake.
Christmas season is almost here. Check them out for their goodies which are great to give out as gifts or even for personal consumption!

Meron Choco Kiss sa UP Bahay ng Alumni. I think they have another branch in E. Rod but I’m not sure. I love this place. Favorite ko ung bagoong rice nila ang iced tea. Yum!
