Paseo Uno
June 3, 2007Mandarin is known for their food. They may not have a very nice lobby, but all else is great. My insights on their service merits another post, as for now, let's stick with Paseo Uno.
I first discovered Paseo Uno when we were scouting for a venue for the UP Eng'g 2005 gradball. We picked Mandarin Oriental Hotel and had the taste test at Paseo Uno. We were so excited then since we get to try out their buffet for free (which would normally cost over a grand!).
Paseo Uno boasts of its wide variety of delectable food! See pictures below.
Oh! And I just love their dessert station! On our next visit, I vow to start with dessert first. From our previous visits, I'm already too full by the time I get to the desserts, thus not being able to try out some of their offerings as much as I'd want to. I'd always just end up with their crepes (a not-to-be-missed dessert in paseo uno) and their fondue.

Good thing my hubby was able to get Mandarin's privilege card! We both get to eat at Paseo Uno, but only have to pay for one! Oh yeah!

yeah, we’ve actually been planning to try out the spiral…it’s just really a little too expensive and we’re having a hard time rationalizing if it’s truly worth it.

thanks!
Posted by urlyn at June 3, 2008, 8:16 pmWell, an agent just called him at their office and offered the privilege card. He just paid via credit card and had the card delivered the next day.
Try calling Mandarin if you can buy directly there

Hi Jen! We’re both Mandarin lovers pala!I miss their food at Paseo Uno! So yummy! We were members last year and it ended this March. We went back to being members at Westin (now Sofitel) because of their longest buffet at Spiral Restaurant. I’m telling you, it’s the best! If you loved Paseo Uno, you’ll definitely fall in love with Spiral at Sofitel. Try it!
